Edu cards have colored pictures with corresponding names in the 3 languages. On the back side, the cards have sentences in the 3 languages using phrases and descriptive words related to the pictures on the front side. This method allows the students who have knowledge or interest of the subjects to learn the names of the animals, plants, trees, or minerals in the other languages. The descriptive text also allows a "self-discovery" approach of learning meaning of specific words.

The different types of Edu cards cover a variety of topics such as animals, plants, trees, minerals, and history. Interesting facts are presented with attractive pictures. The cards can be used as "flash" cards for daily learning of facts and words. The facts are chosen to promote interest and further thinking in the various topics covered as well as to present technical words and their meaning. The cards also serve as educational games.

Edu Cards are categorizes in trees, plants, animals, people, elements, rocks, gems, etc. Each card has a picture on the front side and a relevant text on the back side. Cards that are designed to play the “What or who am I?” game have a code on the back side with the text corresponding to the name of what or who is pictured on the front side.

Die verschiedenen Arten von Edu-Karten beschäftigen sich mit einer Vielzahl von Themen, sowie Tiere, Pflanzen, Bäume, Mineralien und Geschichte. INSTRUCTION TO PLAY

Chose a category, and pick out a few groupings you wish to learn about to make the choices smaller.

Combine "Animals - humans Part 5" with "Animals - humans and animals Part 7" and you will see how similar we are to other life forms.

Place the cards you have chosen to play with picture face down in a pile in the middle of the table and take turns picking a card up.

1. Pick a card from the pile of cards with the front-side picture facing down and read the text without seeing the picture side. 
2. Show the picture side to the other players. 
3. If you do not know what or who the text refers to, then keep the card and collect more facts for cards with the same code. 
4. Once you think you know what or who the texts refer to, make a guess. 
5. Have the other players confirm if you were right or wrong so that if you were wrong, you can continue collecting more facts to be able to make a right guess later on. 

• If your guess is correct, you get a point for each card and the cards are returned to the bottom of the pile.
• If your guess is wrong then you lose a point for each card.

ANLEITUNG ZUM SPIEL

REGLES DU JEU

5. Demandez aux autres joueurs de confirmer si vous aviez raison ou tort, si vous avez eu tort, vous pouvez continuer à recueillir plus de faits pour pouvoir faire une bonne estimation plus tard. 

• Si votre estimation est correcte, vous obtenez un point pour chaque carte et les cartes sont retournées au bas de la pile.
• Si votre estimation est fausse, vous perdez un point pour chaque carte 

"Tree Memory game".

Different trees are displayed, each tree having 4 pictures showing "form", "bark", "leaf" and "timber use". The names of the trees are on the back side with a descriptive sentence The cards are placed picture side up in a random order. The object of the game is to be able to pick up 4 cards that correspond to the same tree.
